Helping the Lee Road Community includes the families on the brink of homelessness in the extended stay motels and each year, the Lee Road Safe Neighborhood Team hosts an annual toy drive in partnership with the office of Mayor Demings.

Lee Road Safe Neighborhood Annual Toy Drive & Holiday Distribution
The Lee Road Safe Neighborhood Team is spreading holiday cheer once again through our Annual Toy Drive and Holiday Distribution, held in partnership with the Mayor’s Toy Drive! This heartwarming community tradition helps bring joy to local children and families facing housing insecurity during the holiday season.
From December 15th–17th, we’ll be collecting new, unwrapped toys at Oh Hey Café (1325 Lee Rd, Orlando, FL 32810) between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM each day. Your donations will help brighten the holidays for children living in nearby extended-stay hotels.
On Wednesday, December 17th at 5:30 PM, join us back at Oh Hey Café for our Toy Wrapping Party! We’ll provide snacks, drinks, and festive tunes as we wrap the donated gifts together—a fun way to celebrate the spirit of giving with neighbors and friends.
Then, on Thursday, December 18th, volunteers will meet again at Oh Hey Café before heading out to Lee Gardens Hotel and Countryside Inn to deliver the wrapped gifts directly to families in need.

Join the team with Lee Road Safe Neighborhood during the 2023 Toy Drive and Wrapping Party! This will be the first opportunity to volunteer and support the collection, wrapping and distribution preparation ahead of the delivery to the families.
Holiday Toy Distribution- December 16th @ 6 pm
Each Year, the Lee Road Safe Neighborhood community distributes toys with a community member who dresses up like Santa for the Holidays! This is an amazing opportunity to help the families int eh extended stay motels along the Lee Road and I-4 area to ensure every child can have access to something special for the holidays.
